Forget Compromise

I’m all about breaking rules.

Disrupting the dominant paradigm.

It’s how my ADHD brain works.

Our sessions don't look like any other counseling or therapy or likely even coaching you’ve ever done. I do a lot of asking, “Yeah, but why?”

One of my favo

rite rules to break? "Relationships are all about compromise." WHY? Doesn't compromise by definition imply both of you reluctantly giving up what you ACTUALLY want?

Look, I get some of it semantics, so don’t @ me on that. But when the two (or however many of you) decide it’s not going to be about one person’s way adjusting to the other's, then you have to approach it as a TEAM. 💙

And you keep going, getting as creative as possible, until you’ve found a THIRD path (or 7th or 11th) that works for all involved.

(btw., there's a whole technique to this we cover in sessions. If you've been considering getting support but not sure what that looks like, let's chat: https://shorturl.at/SCeaJ ☎ )
